Our Beliefs

Below is a summary of our beliefs. A more thorough statement of our beliefs, including Scripture references, can be found here.

The Bible is God's Word and, therefore, true, trustworthy, and without error.

There is only one God and he exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is the Son of God who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, rose from the grave, and ascended to heaven to save and redeem sinful people.

The Holy Spirit illuminates, convicts, regenerates, sanctifies, and seals believers until the day of Christ's return.

All men and women are created in the image and likeness of God. Since the fall in Genesis 3, all people are born sinful and in need of redemption.

Salvation is a gift of God, given by grace alone, and is received by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

The church is both universal and local. It is the Body of Christ and central to God's plan of redemption.

God creates all people in his image as uniquely male or female. Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in a life-long covenantal commitment and is the God-ordained channel for sexual expression and procreation.
